Sustainability report
We report our progress on an annual basis. Learn more about how we work with waste, consumption and circularity in our latest Sustainability Report.
We all have a role to play to minimize the pollution and impact of waste and energy consumption on the planet.
Hexagon’s manufacturing processes involve substances and materials that can potentially cause harm to the environment if not handled properly.
We are committed to achieving our long-term goal of 1) zero waste to landfill from production and 2) advancing a zero-impact energy culture with efficient design, CO2 efficient operational operational and procurement choices to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
Results and achievements
Over the last few years, we have established processes that ensure our materials can be used, recycled and repurposed where possible to minimize our consumption impact on the planet.
Our teams conduct waste stream mapping at sites for all waste types: recycling, landfill, hazardous and electronic.
The waste stream mapping conducted is essential to realizing our full potential and to capture gaps in current processes. We are in close dialogue with research institutes and suppliers to move even further forward toward circularity.
In 2024, Hexagon Agility performed its first round of annual waste audits at its US production sites. Hexagon Digital Wave also created its first site waste map and will perform a waste audit in 2025.
