Diversity, inclusion and belonging

Hexagon is committed to workplace diversity, ensuring equal opportunities for all, and fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging. Operating in a traditionally male dominated industry, we believe that our continued success depends on our ability to attract, recruit, retain and develop a diverse and highly skilled team.

Hexagon University

Developing leadership as a competence and a fundamental aspect of our company culture is critical to delivering on our business strategy and reaching our goals. Through Hexagon University we offer courses intended to guide and engage our leaders in activities, discussions, and hands-on practice in a variety of leadership competencies.

Workforce development

We recognize the positive impacts of engaging and investing in our employees’ development and believe our ability to drive workforce development is critical to maintain healthy retention rates, attract new talent, improve diversity and secure long-term sustainable growth.

Talent Development Cycle

Our talent development program structures talent reviews, individual development plans, and strategic workforce planning. All are developed to remove systemic barriers that could hinder employees from reaching their full potential and provide equal opportunities for all.

Technical training

Our largest assembly facility has its own technical training lab, where employees can get hands-on experience to build their technical skills and knowledge of products and processes. Individual training plans are developed to ensure each employee can meet their full potential.

Community engagement

Our businesses exist to positively impact the communities in which they operate. Many of our sites are active in their communities, and our people are empowered to contribute to their local communities, including through paid community volunteer leave.

Great Place to Work Certified

All of our business areas were Great Place to Work certified in 2023.
