Hexagon Composites ASA's sales totalled NOK 550.6 (573.7) million and EBITDA amounted to NOK 66.2 (91.1) million for the first half-year 2012. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to NOK 33.1 (53.2) million, while earnings before taxes totalled NOK 29.6 (43.2) million. This is a decline compared to the same period the previous year and is mainly due to lower sales in the LPG containers business area. The High-pressure area achieved good earnings during the period.

Significant events in the Group since the previous interim report:

* Lincoln Composites was awarded a strategically important contract with SC Group in Thailand for the supply of 55 TITAN(TM) modules
* Lincoln Composites received the first three TITAN(TM) orders to the North American market with a total value of NOK 75 million
* Devold AMT has completed the relocation of its remaining production in Norway to Lithuania
